Review: Leon Restaurants

This week I’ve been writing about how to avoid decision fatigue and plan your week to avoid getting stressed out and tired.

If you follow me on Snapchat you’ll know I eat at Leon for lunch most days.

Of all the places to go near the office, Leon is the best option for me. Here’s why I love it so.

Effectiveness

There’s nothing worse than spending money on lunch only to be found hungrily raiding the office vending machine come 4 o’clock.

Some Leon dishes are a little on the small side; mostly the salads and wraps, but other dishes such as the Thai Green Chicken Curry, Chicken and Chorizo Club Box and Chargrilled Chicken Hot Box with Chilli are really filling.

Ingredients

If you’re eating somewhere Monday – Friday it needs to be healthy. Leon serves what it calls ‘naturally fast food’;

“We opened Leon because we wanted to prove that it was possible to serve food that both tastes good and does you good,” said founders John and Henry in a statement.

“We want to make it easy for people to eat well on the high street. We want to do this in every major city in the world.”

The ingredients are all natural, and they work closely with a nutritionist to make sure the menu is benefiting their customers’ health.

Convenience

Once I started eating at Leon I saw stores wherever I went. They have 38 restaurants so far in the UK, and are on the process of building new ones as I write.

Food is always served hot and fresh in my experience, although the queue can be long and it has all the hustle and bustle of a fast food restaurant.

Prices start from around 1.95 for breakfast pots to £6.75 for lunch boxes.

The R Factor

I recommend Leon probably once a week to people at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

Not to mention my frequent tweets (the Leon social media team are hilarious on Twitter btw) and lunchtime snapchats.
